Gazeta Wyborcza

The largest quality newspaper in Poland. Gazeta was created in 1989 as a platform for the first democratic parliamentary elections in Poland. The first issue had a circulation of 150 thousand copies and eight pages. Gazeta boasts the biggest number of buyers and readers among all Polish quality dailies. The readers value most of all the magazine supplements coming out with Gazeta. The seven thematical supplements are the most popular among advertisers. Today Gazeta sells about 448 thousand copies a day with an average page count exceeding 110 pages.

Metro

Metro is a nationwide free daily newspaper distributed throughout Poland’s 19 largest cities. Its average daily circulation is 526 thousand copies. The readership of the newspaper is 2,5 mln. people which brings Metro on the third place among Polish national dailies. Metro is an independent, modern and dynamic newspaper created by a team of young people. For its young readers living in big cities Metro develops culture supplement Metro City, thematical Sport.pl ³ MetroPraca.pl, as well as Internet services — recruitment and E-Metro.

Collections

In June 2004, Gazeta Wyborcza started its first publishing project a 40-volume collection of the 20th Century Literature. By this time, Agora has launched 27 publishing series and 32 individual projects. Until the end of 2007, the Company sold about 32 million books and books with CDs or DVDs. Among the collection items Agora offers book series, guides, audio books, music and film collections, as well as special musical projects — books with the debut albums of Polish musicians.

Magazines

Agora publishes 15 magazines (incl. 13 monthlies, 1 quarterly and 1 annual). Agora’s magazines cover a wide range of topics form cuisine and parenthood to motorization and interior design. The most distinguished of them are Poradnik Domowy, one of the housekeeping magazines with the biggest number of subscribers; Kuchnia, the only Polish exclusive magazine about cooking; Cztery Katy, the interior design magazine with the highest circulation and readership, Avanti and Logo, the first magazines on the Polish market to cover the topics of shopping and lifestyle.

AMS

AMS is the leader in the outdoor advertising market in Poland. Agora bought a majority stake in AMS in September 2002. Its broad offer includes: billboards, citylights, cityscroll pannels, backlights 6×3 and 8×4 and large format panel systems — backlights and frontlights. Besides, AMS offers mobile advertising on city buses and trams as well as in Warsaw metro wagons.

Radio

Agora’s radio group operates two music brands Zlote Przeboje and Roxy FM broadcasted on 24 local radio stations, Internet radio Tuba.fm, and superregional radio station TOK FM — first Poland?s news radio.

Internet

Agora’s Internet services are the most popular media resources in their categories. Among more than 47 Internet brands of the Company Gazeta.pl can be distinguished as one of the most popular Polish web-portals. Agora’s online offer includes a big range of thematical websites with reach audiovisual content, vertical services and communities. The Company?s web projects are targeted at users of different age groups who search information about a big variety of topics, among them entertainment, fashion and cuisine, business and economics, politics, sports, recruitment, bringing up children, etc.
